I can't get my 10' sami to lock the equity mux on G-3 since I put on the corotor.
I can lock it with my old astrotel c band only lnbf. I wonder if it could be the fact that the lnb on the corotor does not have a direct connection to the probe where as the lnbf does. The slight loss could be causing the 7/8 FEC not to lock.
I am getting 70-72 % quality on the signal but it will not lock any video or audio.
The astrotel does not really get any more signal but will lock without any pixelation.
I have one of those cheap BSC-211 lnb's that came with the corotor package.
I have noticed that the HBO Max stuff is locking in at 70 and 78% quality on the
4DTV where as the astrotel lnbf locking them in the high 80's and 99%.
Do you guys think a higher quality lnb would do the trick.
My feed is perfectly centered. I set the focal depth to .38 which brings the focal depth to 45 5/8" to 1/4" inside the feedhorn. I have tweaked the skew and checked the alignment of the dish. Nothing will lock the signal.
