:) Greetings,

New here. My wife and I live and travel in our 33' motor home. Pointing the dish has become somewhat problematic. Not practical to pay the "local guy" every time we move.
  1. The tripod we have is a piece of crap. Can anyone recommend a decent product that is designed for use on uneven surfaces. (Hills etc.)
  2. We are currently in a campground in the Oregon rain forest, and will be here for a few months. Obviously, lots of trees to contend with. We have located 119w with a signal of 70 - 80. Considering that the recommended skew would put the 110w LNB higher than 119w, does it make any sense that we cannot find 110w? Seems like if we can get one, we should be able to find the other. Not likely 110 is blocked by trees? We have a signal finder and briefly found 129w. Seems to me we are only 9 degrees off from finding it, but it just doesn't seem to be there. Any suggestions?
  3. While in the "point dish" screen, the box will randomly re-boot itself which only adds to the frustration. Any chance this is a known software issue? 'Dish' is insisting that it isn't happening. Any known issues with boxes and motor homes? (Only happens in that screen. Other than that, it is stable and behaves.)
Any thoughts on these issues would be appreciated. Apologies for such basic issues that have most likely been discussed to death before. I just didn't have much luck finding anything relevant in the archives. If you know of relevant threads, your pointing me in the right direction would also be appreciated.

First thing I would try is to cover one of the lnb's and make sure your getting 119 on the 119 lnb.

"Check Switch" indicates 119 is coming thru the 119 lnb. 110 lnb indicates "conn".

Thanks for your reply.
