cant get signal with 10 ft dish .

hello, i received this dish for free from a hotel , and i brought here tohaiti to enjoy directv , my problem is that i cannot get any type of signal, maybe i just need more patience , but i just tarted thinking that the dish would not work. i know that for offset dishes the signal bounces on back of dish then it hits lnb , but fo rthese prime focus dish are we basically pointing directly at sat? can this aluminum dish that is in 4 parts actually work? or do i need to do smething different?

The big dish is the best dish out there.

You will not get DTV with a C-band dish, unless you put a DBS LNBF on the dish, which is a waste of a big dish, you should get a c/ku feedhorn and lnbs and a 4dtv with a dvb box, you will be happy
