can't get DVR and HD receiver working

I tried to connect my RCA DVR and HD receiver(H10) using brand new
multiswitch (3x4). No HD channels would work and has intermittent
signal problems. Hooking up each receiver separately works fine. No
signal problems when each receiver is connected straight to the
box. I tried switching all cables with no luck. Anyone know the best way
to hook up 2 receivers at once?
