I was going to recommend Info if the Recal didn't automatically delete it.
What happens if you do press play. If it starts or gives you an expired message, can you then stop and delete it then or just delete from the expired message.
These things are like trying to find the 4 leaf clover in the entire yard of stuff to try.
379 just came out. Check to see if it was pushed to you and if anything changed. There has been quite enough chat about this that someone who monitors this forum in Dish Tech would have had to report it at least.NO option to play the movies.

379 was installed (not sure when). I agree, quite enough chat and unless one day the option is there to delete these 2 On Demand movies, I'm done.
Yes, with those 2 movies. Can't play, can't delete. Maybe by 8/7 they will delete as per a Dish Tech on July 6th.

You mean Josh.M as I think he's with DISH Technical Operations and there is also brittanygarden who is the product manager for the Hoppers I believe?
Hipkat and tjboston5676 are techs and are extremely knowledgeable but remember something is missing so only the ones I mentioned could actually file a official bug report as they directly work with DISH.

If you have a model 40 remote and it is paired with your Hopper you can probably delete those items by pressing the blue button when you have the program title up.Same thing happened to me but I reported the issue in an older discussion topic I found when doing an Internet search about this issue.

I called Dish support again and they still could not resolve the issue. In fact the rep almost deleted my movies from the custom made folders. I don't think she really understood what the problem was that I called about. We may have had a more productive conversation if she eliminated all the background noise. It's hard to listen to one person in a room full of others talking at the same time.
I believe the only way you can get rid of the vod is to reset the receiver to factory settings. That means everything will be deleted and reset just like a computer would be. I am not sure if your would need call dish to reactivate your dvr or not after doing a factory reset?
