can't aquire signal on my bell 3100 sat receiver

my bell 3100 sat receiver can't acquire a signal any more.I verified all the cables. What happens if i do the factory reset

factory reset just removes all the favourties/timers you have set up

Does it show a signal at all? menu 6-1-1 will get you into the point dish screen to verify

Do you have a working receiver that you can swap it with.?

Or a neighbor where you can connect it, to prove it works, or doesn't......

Make sure that you SmartCard is properly seated. Just push it in to make sure.
