I'm using a superdish, DP34 switch, and a dvr-625 receiver. Its a superdish 105 I believe. The little outrigger thing is on the right if you are looking straight at it. and if you pop the cover off the component labeled FSS is on the left.
This setup was professionally installed and has been working fine for months but just stopped last night for no apparent reason. Now it just sits there cycling through transponders trying to acquire a signal.
It is quite cloudy out but its always taken way more than whats out there now to block my signal before. I went out and gave the dish a gentle shove to make sure nothing had come loose and come out of alignment. I also check to make sure all the cables were still securely fastened.
When I run the check switch utility, the results are the same for both satellite inputs.
Satellite: Conn Conn X
Trans: X X X
Device: Dual Dual X
Status: Reception Error
Switch: DP34
Superdish is also checked.
If I go back to the point dish screen, I get no signal for any satellite.
Can anyone give me some tips on things to try to fix this. I'd really like to avoid paying dish $100 to send out a tech.
P.S. I have tried rebooting the reciever using both the power button and by pulling the cord.
