Cancelling Dish

Hello.
If I cancell Dish, will they take the dish?

I am going to switch to D* and don't know also if they can use the same wiring already here.
I want them to use the same wiring, this house is complicated to put new in.

So people who have switched... how it is?

They will not. Usually they just ask for receivers and remotes, and if accessible the lnbf( eyeball of dish). If your switching one thing to keep in mind is that usually mast size is different between the providers, all really depends on which dish you have. So be prepared to have another dish mounted, usually in a different location.

But the coax is probably fine.

If you have a dvr, you will loose all your recordings. If you eventually come back to Dish they will still be gone.

for me they ran new ceple to musltiswtch location, all inside cabeling was re used

Isn't there a link somewhere around here that sends you to a site where you can map a google map and it overlays the LOS required to receive certain sats in the sky? That would probably be useful in determining where your D dish would go and how much exterior Coax you could reuse.
