Cancel Dish...Do I get the money back I paid ahead?

I think I know the answer but was going to ask anyways.

Right now I have just locals & WPIX. I've had this for a couple years now. I really don't need it anymore (we were taking this to the cabin but now we get decent OTA reception) so I was looking to cancel.

Here's the issue. I am paid up until about March 1 (I send Dish like 20 bucks a month to stay ahead and to not have to write out little amounts to them). If I cancel now, will they send me a check or am I out the money?

Don't get me wrong..its not like I need the 15 bucks or whatever it is, but Dish should send back any overpayment (no I'm not on an annual either)

When I cancelled a while back, I did get my money back. I can't remember if they credited my credit card or sent me a check.

Dish Network will send you a check for the amount that you overpaid and you will have a limited amount of time to cash it (90 days I believe).
