Hello everyone, I am new to this site and to SkyFx...but my question is. Can I use another satellite modem with my SkyFx service other than the USB modem they give me? I would much rather do an ethernet setup other than USB. Plus with Skyfx's modem...wireless networking is a big hassle..[especially for me since wireless networking isn't on my list of experience] thanks! :)

Yes you can use skywayusa sw-10 modem, I have changed my settings on my skyway modem to work with skyfx. all you need to do is change the frequency to 11725, and the symbol rate to 8000, then set the pids. I have gotten this far with the sw-10 but now all i need is the password for network settings so i can change the ip to 10.60.14.155 . and also dissable DHCP by the way the password for modem config is swc0nf1g you will need this to make changes to your settings. if anyone has the magic password for network settings please let me know. hope this helps answer your question.
