Can you use a digital gift card to subscribe to Dove channel 296-01

I can cash in 20000 of my AARP rewards points to receive a digital gift card for 6 months subscription to the Dove channel. Would I be able to use the digital gift card with Dish to get channel 296-01 on my Hopper3 receivers?

I called Dish customer support and unfortunately they don’t have a way to accept a Digital gift card.

I use ( if available) Digital Gift Cards on my streaming services that I sub to, use my CC points.

But I have to redeem on that services‘ site, assume the same for Dove.

Get a cheap roku streaming stick and use it that way

I know that I can stream it to my many devices. I have Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Stick, and smart TV’s. Yet I mostly use my Dish 2 Hopper3 receivers for most of my viewing. Currently, I have a lot of content to view with Hallmark premiere movies and Great American Family movies. So I will probably wait till next month to redeem the 6 month free of Dove streaming service.
