Can you hook CATV to 622?

I've tried to search for this topic but have not been successful so I would appreciate some help or pointed in the right direction. Can you hook CATV to the 622's TV/Antenna/Cable input on the 622 to receive local/record local channels? Thanks.

the 622 will only record OTA digital channels

And it does not have pass thru, so hooking to a 622 serves no purpose at all.

Qam

Cable uses a different standard than OTA signal. Cable uses QAM standard not the ATSC OTA standard. So there is no way that the 622 can pick up cable.
