Can we cut down on SD PPV?

How did DVDs kill the video stores? I don't think that DVDs had anything to do with the downfall of the video stores. I think it was the mix of Redbox (and similar) and other deliver methods (PPV, streaming, Netflix, etc.) that killed the video stores.

u cant rent a video tape from a kiosk very easily while a DVD works fine..a DVD is much more compact making it much cheaper to ship in the mail
