Can U use a dish network dish500 dish with a directivo?

Hey guys.

Have an important question. Have to go upstate to the family summer home for the weekend. With the AL East likely going to the last game on Sunday, I need to be able to watch. Can I bring my old Dish 500 dish and my active Direct TIVO receiver and catch the game?

Only if the LNBs are legacy and you don't mind doing a little fine tuning for 101 instead of 110. If the LNBs have Dish PRO on them your screwed. Checkout 18inch.com for diagrams (very very helpful site).
