Can the Shawdirect 605 tune to a channel on a daily basis?

Have just changed from the basic receiver to the 605, on the previous model (307?)
I could set it to tune to a channel on a daily basis, or Mon-Fri, or just a one time
shot.

I don't seem to find this capability on the 605.

The auto tuning is program based - not channel/time based

your choices are:
1) Record new episodes
2) Record all episodes
3) Record this program
4) Automatically tune to this airing

Operates the same as the 630

To clarify, options 1-3 on the 605 are reminders - the unit won't actually change the channel, it just pops a ! in the corner of the screen and you have to hit enter to change the channel. Short answer, no recurring auto-tune on the 605.

Thanks for the info, confirms what I thought, will try hitting 'Enter' when the Warning Symbol occurs.
Not as convenient as the old method when the receiver auto changes to the desired channel.
OTH this new (for me) receiver has a lot of other WOW factors, especially the search function.
