Can someone verify this for me (4:2:2 file)

So I recorded 30 seconds of Daystar on 101W C-Band which is 4:2:2

When I play it on the TV its garbled like its suppose to. I dont know how to play the file on a computer.

Can someone try this file (its directly from the usb drive) and see if it plays properly and report back?

edit: shoot. The file wont upload as its 23MB. It keeps timing out. If someone wants to try it please PM me their e-mail address and I can send it that way (verified my yahoo e-mail will send a 23MB file)

Try using vlc to play it back videolan.org

I do not know how - and the person who told me is a lurker here. Says you can output from the USB to computer and watch on your computer or send it back to your TV. He said info is on "Juarez" (warez?) sites... Since he said it does not require code sharing it sounds like eye patch site, to me. I go no further.

Daystar is 4:2:2? I guess they're not like the other Christian broadcasters, that want as many viewers as possible.
Sending the signal in that format will seriously limit the FTA audience.

That feed is 4:2:2

They're on 2 KU sats (97W & 123W) in the clear in DVB
They're on 103W in DCII in the clear

This feed (101W C-Band) might be for cable headends or something

I've seen that one on 101 and wondered why the repetition, seems to be the same programming as on 97W Ku. Being 422 would certainly indicate cable or other distribution. I almost always use the azbox these days so no idea if it was 422 or 420.

I assume the C-Band feeds are for cable (as rain fade is close to nonexistent) and the KU for the consumer as the dish is smaller
