Don't you need to split the coax to have one go to the separate OTA tuner once inside the house, no? How does the AM-21 get its OTA signal without a coax line going directly into its port?but you don't have to run a 2nd wire. both signals (ota and sat) are combined over one coax.

How else does the OTA tuner get its signal, especially if one is using an AM21?If you use diplexers, one cable can be used between them for both satellite and OTA. I already had two coaxes, so use one for the satellite signal and the other for OTA.
