What about if you add a premium to the Welcome Pack and have a HD receiver do you get the premiums such as HBO or Showtime that you carry in HD?

Yes, you will get those HD channels as they are included in the premium package. There is no add on HD package for Welcome Pack or Dish Family and you cannot add DISH Platinum or EPIX package to these.

If this was directed at me (which I am not sure), I had "(in HD if offered and SD)" after "LOCALS" not the entire list of channels. However, if anyone was confused by my post, then I am glad that you clarified such.

I hope someone will post when the 301's will no longer be able to be activated for those that may have some not active on an account so that they do not become paper weights.

you can also add the free public interest channels too. This list is a little outdated

but it gives you the jist...mainly the church channels and the 9400 channels
