Can my 30inch dish be used for my legal Dish setup?

Title pretty much says it all. If I add a 2nd lnb for dish can I use the big 30inch dish? Thanks

Yes you just have to change your L.O. to 11250 on the 2nd DBS LNB, There is alway something on DBS FTA worth watching. The signal is bouncing in off the side of the dish, but it works great as the DBS satellites have very strong signals. I just added all the DBS satellites to my receiver, its well worth it. Any old DirecTV or old type Dishnetwork LNB will work.

You can just zip tie the DBS LNB to the Ku LNB, or there is a Dual LNB bracket you can buy, I made may own : )

I'm using a 30" dish for my ExpressVu subscription...really helps the rain fade

What are you trying to accomplish? Having both Dish & FTA on the same system?

Ice I wanted to get rid of the Dish antenna if possible. Plus with 30inch rain fade would be much better. That's all. Just wondering if I needed a new lnb or if my KU lnb would work. Looks like I could take the dual off the dish and hook it to the 30in and make it work that way. Or get a 2nd single lnb that works for dish.

The only problem is if you want to watch Dish, you have to move the 30" to the spot where it works.

What happens if you want to watch Dish 119 and something on AMC9 at 85? can't do it
