Can I watch any externally recorded video on my VIP 722k?

Another quick question...

Can I transfer any recordings from my PC to the VIP 722k? ...or can they be streamed? ...or can I put the videos on a USB stick and have the 722k play them?

No, your best option is to get a box like Boxee, or WDTV Live, or other options. There are a few threads about those on here.

Thanks... I do have an HTPC but it's only connected to my main TV. I'd like to watch a couple of things on my kitchen TV (very old TV with coax jack only!). The home distribution jack on the Dish receivers works perfect (with the RF remote) but I had hoped I could put a few MPEG files on an EHD and watch them or something like that ...
