Can I put OTA signal into the DPP44 Switch 4th Port?

Hi all,

Just switched back to Dish and I love my service. I got a 622, 211 and a standard receive running on my MEdia Center PC.

We get all the HD's locals here in Seattle except fox. Luckily, I can pick it up OTA, but I don't want to have to run another cable into the house for it.

Can I run my OTA antenna into the 4th port on the DPP44 switch they installed?

If not, what should I do? The 622 is plugged into the 1st port I believe.

Would a diplexer on the output of the DPP44 work too?

Instead of the input from a splitter, use your OTA feed to input the UHF/VHF side of the diplexer. Also at the receiver, the output from the UHF/VHF side of the diplexer goes into the Antenna input on the receiver.

Don't use diplexers on Port 1 unless they are rated 2A. I would suggest you use any other port but port 1.
