Can I move recordings from 622 to 722?

I was thinking about activating an external hard drive then move my recordings from 622 to the external HD, and then watch these recordings on my new 722. Can the same external hard drive be effectively used on more than one DVR?

As long as both HD dvr receivers are on your account, yes you can. There is a limited number of transfers per recording, however.

Correct. The limitation went away about a year ago.

I do it all the time, with several EHDs between my two ViP722 HD DVRs.
