can i hook up a gamecube to a 3900?

i was wondering if it is possible to hook a game cube into the rf (says satellite/cable in) on a dish 3900 reciever. if so, what would the setup be? if have the rf adapter for the game cube.

Well, I know little about either of these devices, but normally, RF passthrough works without issue - just like a VCR. I don't know the remote button to use to make the 3900 "get out of the way" of the Gamecube's signal, but it's likely to be something like "Sat/TV". On newer remotes (50x, 921) it's 2nd from the left in the 2nd row from the top.
