Using a multi-switch, can an FTA dish, and an HD OTA antenna share the same coax to feed a single television, or do the FTA dish and OTA dish each have to have their own coax going to the television?
Looking at a current DTV home (3 televisions watching DTV) that is switching to FTA and OTA. The wiring is currently in place for the DTV to different rooms.
Can that internal wiring (one feed from the current DTV multi-switch), be used for both FTA and OTA, or will a new line need to be run for OTA?
Can the same multi-switch be used for the FTA and OTA simultaneously? (FTA in one room and OTA in another), or would there need to be a separate multi-switch for the FTA, and one for the OTA?
