If Voom goes under, what happens to their original channels? Dish has so few HD channels, maybe they can pick up some of Vooms-

welcome to satellite guys. glad you are here.

to answer your question, dish said they will not take any of voom channels.

be sure to visit often, lots of good info here.

Can they .. sure.

Will they.... Charlie says there is no compelling HD content available, go watch Bingo.

Some of the Voom channels in there package where Starz HD Cinimax HD and the other national feeds.

Will they pick up some of them? They are uplinked right now on the SAT that Dishnetwork is buying.

Many HD owners already have a 2nd SAT they can point that way.

Hey, here's a deal......

Charlie Dolan in a desperate attempt to keep V* alive, gets Charlie to let him keep the channels on Rainbow 1 and operating. In exchange, Charlie gets to offer most of the HD channels for a nominal fee to E* subscribers. He keeps a few "exclusive" channels so V* can differentiate itself, but maybe he does something like Sirius does in order to boost viewership of the channels.

Nah, I don't think it will happen either, byt SkyReport is postulating that Charlie D. is trying to make a deal with Charlie E. to keep his channels on Rainbow 1 (which hasn't even cleared Justice Dept. and FCC scrutiny yet)

Looking to get Dish - DVR questions

Enough BS Charlie NBR on 5XX - WHEN?
