Can Big Tuna be leaving Miami??!!

I believe if this new owner (which by the way you can hang keys on his face!ugly!)
keeps things as they are and bill continues to have complete control of the fins,he will stay. if the new owner wants to have his nose in things then I see Bill leaving which would really stink. This story at the end may just be that,a story but it couldn't have come at a worse time when the team is in the playoffs trying to get a win in the post season for the 1st time on over 10 years. Bad timing.

Again....remember what Bill set out to do...MAKE THE TEAM LEGIT again...and he did that fast than anyone expected. In the end, THAT was the job. NOT to stay forever, but to make this franchise legit again. I think he may think he has completed what he came to do....who knows with this guy..

...but it has been reported in some Jersey newspaper(newark Star ledger or something like that) and it is getting steam in Oakland of him at the very least, leaving....

yeah you're right. it's difficult to read this guy and know what he might and might not do. we'll find out soon. if he goes which i would really hate, at least I hope he goes to your raiders and makes them legit too.

IF he does go...regardless of who....he did his job. The team is in a good position of being BETTER next year. The QB of the future for the Dolphins is sitting, watching and learning from a seasoned pro in Penningtom and you have Parcell-esque type coaching and thinking in the sidelines and upper management....cna't get better than that....!;)

I've changed my mind about Parcell. Bring him here even if it is for only a season or two. At the very least he could point them in the right direction. The man has turned EVERY program around that he has been associated with. Alas it won't happen here in Detroit . See my "Daze of our Lions" post in the NFL thread.

Well here is the interesting thing; Parcells' contract gives him 30 days after the GM transition to make a decision. During that time, he is allowed to be contacted and discuss things. I think with Pennington, something tells me, he might stay down there.

Cowher is smarter than he looks. He's going to wait and hear every offer. I don't care how much he "enjoys life in the studio" or "more time with the family". Teams are offering him +$9million/year annually. He's playing the game, but eventually he's going to go to the highest bidder.
