HERE TO HELP YOU!
I might have made a mistake, but... in the process of upgrading? the TV in my camper from a TV like this...
Walmart.com: Philips 19" 720P LCD TV with Built-in Tuner, 19PFL3504D/F7: TVs
(which will replace a 13" LCD in my smaller camper)
That I have been very happy with, to this...
Walmart.com: Sanyo 26" LCD HDTV w/ Built-in Digital Tuner, DP26649: TVs
I was going to just get a 22" Phillips
Walmart.com: Philips 22" 720P LCD HDTV with Built-in Tuner, 22PFL3504D/F7: TVs
But the ratings etc on the 26" Sanyo were much better and for the price, plus the fact that it will be used only sparingly and the size made me get the Sanyo.
In the process of taking the mount off for the Phillips (after taking a small 12" CRT that came with the camper out (had to dismantle a cabinet) out... then will installl this mount after putting in some braces etc...

I believe none of these will have good vertical viewing angles. I am surprised at how few do.

I had an Insignia installed in my RV when I bought it. It was on a mount that swiveled left and right, but not up or down. When you sat on the sofa or recliners, and looked up at the set, the picture was dark and blacks were muddled. I replaced it (with a Sharp), gave it to my in-laws where I put it on a full swivel so they can see it at any angle. I could not replace the mount in the RV, it was on a slide and it was MUCH easier to replace the set. The fact that it was also easy to move from 24" to 32" had NOTHING to do with it. ;)

I suggest you ensure the mount swivels up and down as well as left and right, esp if you buy a TV that might not have the best vertical viewing angles.

The Sanus Mount will have to be modified to work with the Sanyo, (or I need to get a mount for a larger set) I have fired it up and have been surprised at the PQ... I am thinking of going camping in the smaller camper so I need to figure out how and where to mount the Phillips...
