Caller Id on 721

I have talked with Tech Support several times about why Caller Id will not work on my two 721's. This last time they told me it was a grounding issue. I checked everything and all appears well but still no Caller ID. By chance I have a 501 which I hooked up to see if Caller Id would work. I used my cell phone to call my home number and it worked fine. Hook the 721 back up and nothing.

Any ideas as too what is causing my problem(s)?

I have no real help. but try this. Disable callerid and exit completely out of the setup menus. Then go back and re-enable it. Let me know if this works.

I have a 501, 721, and 622, and caller id has worked fine on all of them.

Still no caller id. I don;t know what else to do.

caller id on 211

my caller id on my vip 211 has never worked either. I had the 211 replaced and it still didn't work. Anyone else that this problem. My 622 works fine (caller id)

if you have warranty ask for newer 721. tell them that u swaped it for 501 and it works fine.

I have the same problem with my 2 721's.

It occasionally works for a while and then stops for a while.

It seems to ALWAYS work after I restart and then stops a while after that.

I just received another 721 after my original had a hard drive failure. Caller id has not worked on it at all. I guess I'll have to get by without even though it was nice when it was working.
