Regardless of whether its Dish or Direct, I like local guys. Then I can talk to them about what I want and get a feel for them ahead of time. Make sure we're both on the same page. Sort of establishing a good relationship before anything is actually done.
Good points and also you will get faster service.
GO LOCAL !!!!
DirecTV dealers are no longer allowed to advertise they sel DirecTV in the yellow pages.
Kind of dumb ehh?
That’s not true nor is it DTV, its the HSP you work for that makes that choice. DTV dose find a massive amount of sh*t installs IPPV's not shut off, bad wiring jobs, what installers do reflects on DTV and can destroy a relationship between them and the customer.DTV is doing their best to eliminate the "local installer." I have had folks call DTV just to ask for my phone number and the CSR has scheduled a service call. If customers call DTV for "any reason" the HSPs try to ding the installer for $100.00 defective installation charge back.
DTV wants it all and what they have is a fleet of installers who have been doin' this stuff "all day."
