Hey guys, new member here..

I've got a single LNB system with a multiswitch. Running out of ports and too cheap to go to dual LNB. I've got two DVRs and guess I need two feeds into each so I can watch and record at the same time.

Instead of running two new RG11 runs to each receiver, and I don't think I have enough ports left on the multiswitch, is there some kind of mux I can run off the single existing coax going to the existing recievers and emulate two separate feeds into the receivers?

I know this must be a simple question that you guys come across all the time. Your sage advice would be greatly appreciated! What's your recommendation?

Thanks

More information is needed. What multiswitch do you have?
What model DVRs?

Let's take a guess here. Your single LNB dish actually has two outputs which is connected to a 2x4 multiswitch. Which should be enough for your 2 DVRs. You will need to have two lines run from the multiswitch to each DVR.

Are you trying to add more DVRs? And what models are they?

You can't "mux" a single line to get more. You'd need to get a larger multiswitch.
