If I want to upgrade a 211 to a 722 would there be any additional cabling required beyond just adding a simple splitter if I were just replacing the old box with a new one on a single tv?

If you have a Dish 1000.2 then all you need is the separator that comes with the 722.

If the dish setup is different, then it really depends on what you have

Yes on 1000.2 ...

So they should be able to just ship the replacement without an installer and the separator would just split the signal at the box. No need to run a second cable from the box?

Our system probably won't let us ship out the a 722 replacement since it assumes there will need to be a second TV hooked up

Okay. I guess I will need to have the installer come out. The objective is to get a 722 so if 2 TV's are required to order I can do that.

I have the 211 connected to an external hard drive. Will I lose the programing on the drive or will the 722 retain it?
