We have on our property a site the cable company leased from us and they have since went out of busines and have finalized everything in bankruptcy court - thus I am now stuck with all the head end equipment. Most appear old but some may have value - which is why I am here. Hopefully someone can tell me if any of this stuff has any value today - there are a bunch of multiplexors and motorola equipment, model numbers DSR4410 Commerical Integrated Receiver/Decoder left in the building.

Thoughts anyone? Those appear to be the most 'modern' equipment in there besides all the wiring. Any of this stuff worth anything or is this a result of the digital conversion?

Got any dishes left?

Commercial receiver/descramblers wouldn't be very use-friendly to the average satellite tv-fan, and you wouldn't have much luck getting the descramblers authorized ( if they didn't leave any "on" accidentally).
I'd consult an attorney before I ebay'd any of it, or took possession of it, just to cover my @$$. Just to make sure some creditor isn't going to come grab the stuff as part of the settlement.
If they left any dishes on the place, that might be of interest, what state?

yes, I'd definitely consult an attorney - who knows what equipment might be the property of the programmer (sent to the headend to receive their service and to be returned upon terminating the carriage of their channel) or what property might have been purchased and owned by the cableco.
