I can’t believe Directv still installing this junk of a client.
The main receiver hr54 is responsive and fast, but downstairs the tv with the c61k is crap.
Takes 10-15 seconds at least to start when turning on the tv. I’ve fiddled with resolution and remote setting but nothing fixes the sluggishness of this piece of junk.
It’s a damn shame directv doesn’t let you have two traditional receivers. Stuck with minis, worst idea ever.

Directv should be ashamed of themselves for release such product.

Are you saying Directv won't let you have a regular receiver/dvr with the HR54, only a client?

Agree about the slow turn on time, it's not just the C61K but the C61W and C41W's I have. They made it worst a few releases ago, don't know why they had to mess with it in the first place. But once it's on it works just fine with my HS17.

Yeah just annoying dealing with it...

you can absolutely get an hr24 or h25 with an hr54.

but if you want 4k, your stuck with the c61k.

I don’t have the “k” version, mine is just a C61 powered off an HR44. It is much slower than the HR44. It’s more in line with an HR24 in terms of speed.
