C31 or H25?

Which would be faster with the Genie? Right now I have a C31 and it takes forever to change channels. Also, it's very slow with FF, Skip, etc.

Also, if I want the H25, will DTV just ship it to me to swap it out for the C31?

and yes of course the H25 would be faster it has its own tuner.

But they don't Pause or rewind live tv or do VOD.
VOD had to be set from one of your HR's for the H25 to view it.
Also you can only rewind and pause if it is already recorded.

Changing to an H25 will likely run you $100.

I think the C31 performance will improve over the coming months as they iron out the software bugs. There are still numerous bugs, even one requiring a reboot of the HR34 to use the C31 around once a week or so. It will improve, Directv has a history of rushing receivers out and taking six months or so to get the software right.
