in 2009 All Analog will end. alot of them are leaving now. cartoon network left and WGN. few more. it would be better to go ahead and look for a DSR-905 sidecar or dsr-920,922....

Thats OTA, not Satellite

Should I stay with my analog c/ku receiver or should I invest in a 4DTV receiver? What about DVB? Can a 4DTV receiver receive DVB, or do I need to add an FTA receiver to my ku cable?

IMO, if you want to stay current, you can get a DSR922 and have both C and Ku in Analog and Digital. For DVB, you would have to slave a FTA recvr to your setup, and you can get DVB in both C and Ku. Have the best of both worlds! I do!
