C band help

I need help with what to do with a 16 year old 3 meter C band dish and a old panasonic reciever. The systems still works poorly. Is there converison to something else? I'm in the Los Angeles area. The dish is aluminum Winegard. The dish antenuator still works fine.
Pleas help.

I do not understand? why poorly? is reception bad or are you only getting H or V programming? do you have C-band only or c/ku? if the dish is in good shape and you have a good line of site the system should work great, you would want to upgrade to 4dtv though.
