My wife needs BVN. We received it via Mhtz on our TV until they cancelled July 1st. Please advise on the best, and most economical, way to receive this Dutch channel via satellite. We live in Virginia.
Thanks-

Get a simple free to air system (receiver, dish+lnbf, cable) and you can receive BVN from AMC4 satellite at 101West. It's in standard def and won't require any expensive receiver. Check out sponsors at top of page, they sell the components or entire system. You'll need a 31" or bigger dish, the signal is quite strong from that satellite. Or, look around for an old primestar satellite dish, people usually give them away for the removal, and just buy a rec and some cable, DIY if you're handy with tools. It's not that complicated.

Right now there are two locations for BVN: AMC 4 at 101.0°W and SatMex 6 at 113.0°W.

If you have a clear line of sight to either satellite, then as Turbosat stated a basic Fta system should work fine.
