I've got an older neighbor that got installed for Dish last Monday, and they are not happy with it. How many days "grace" do they have before they will have to pay an early termination fee? Is there a 7, 15, 30 day opt out to cancel?
They want to cancel. No talking them out of it. I'm just trying to find out info for them.
It really is your Nieghbors responsibility to cancel Dish, but honestly they do owe Dish an explanation of why they dont like the service.I am sure they are still getting new service dicounuts at this time. What dont they like about the service,if they are having problems with equipment or Picture quality they should contact Dish to correct the problem.I have been with Dish for over 8 years and yes it did take getting used to,but compared to other services in my area, the price ,channel availabilty outweighs anything the other companies can offer ,sure in my area Comcast offers a special for 29.99 but once you add on anything extra DVRS,extra outlets(install Fees)Dish becomes alot cheaper and easier to change around programming. The only thing Dish is lacking at this time is a decent On Demand service, but with a DVRyou can live without that.
You need to have a serious talk with your older nieghbor and find out what their problem is with Dish, just not liking the way the service, channels, eqipment is set up isnt a reason to cancel. They need to give it a chance.Older or not they should know better than to sign up for something without doing their reseach.Sure Dish my let you cancel service at a Cost but your nieghbors owe it to themselves to give it a Chance.
