DISH Anywhere does have the Sling portio of your Hopper built into it. Simply select a show or recording and "watch on this device" will be an option
Go to www.dishanywhere.com, log in with your Dish website credentials, and voila!
This assumes that the uPnP port mapping feature on your router is working properly. It should be by default, but you never know for sure.
Also, don't go watching on other people's computers all over the place at random, because there is apparently, according to postings here recently, a five-device limit.

Got HWS today.
Dish Everywhere app does not work remotely. "Invalid id". Fine at home. Do I need to let HWS settle for a few days or is it a bug?

When you say "fine at home" do you mean that while inside your house, you start the app or go through the web site, it comes up and works fine?
If so .. then I would wonder about uPNP and NAT issues with your internet connection.
The difference in being inside or outside of your house and using DRA/DO/DAW, is that inside your app will get local IP space and reference. Outside your home network, you should be getting a referral ip address to your home network router (or modem if DSL or all in one device on cable network).
But also agreed with the others that it could just be a matter of time to settle, etc. just suspicious...

Yep. App on iphone works at home.
Away from home comes up invalid id.
I did a search and most results came 2012 with the original Hopper.

Reset Hopper and router did the trick.....for now.
