When I got my 922 installed the tech used a Slinglink Homeplug to connect me to the internet. I have a wireless N router and wireless dual band bridge (the bridge being connected to a blu-ray player.
So far the homeplug is doing fine, but I wanted to see if others have this setup for the 922 and what speeds they are getting compared to what I'm getting.
When I first start to download a movie, the download starts at around 80mbps then decreases over about a 2 minute span to between 13-18mbps, then stays steady there. I give the movie about a 5 minute head start then I can watch the movie just fine without catching up to the download.
I was wondering if this is what others get with the homeplug, and if not, what is your experience?
FYI, the bridge does not work well on the blu-ray player despite both the router and bridge being N-draft. Tried watching Amazon Video on Demand and it could not keep up with the download. I have a D-Link DIR-655 router and and D-Link DAP-1522 bridge.
