Broadband over DISHCOMM?

Is a broadband connection shared over DISHCOMM?

My setup

622 w/ wired broadband connection
722 w/ dishcomm connected successfully to 622.

Will I be able to use the new dishonline features on the 722 or do I need to purchase a wireless ethernet solution for the 722?

No, the broadband will not work through Dishcomm. I have the same setup as you and the broadband only works on the receiver with the direct hook up to broadband.

I tried it and even having the units hooked up to the internet is useless for me. IT doesn't do anything and plus, if I ditch the telephone line, I loose Caller ID. If Dish ever get the internet rolling over here in Delaware, I would attempt to hook them up again. Plus, when I had the units hookedup, it would screw with my wireless router. I had to do a reset on the wireless router almost every three days. So, I pulled the plug and have no resetting issue now.
