IMO, when the Cubs rested most of their players in the season finale against Milwaukee, that probably should have been a bad omen.

I should think it was a bad omen because if they played most of their regulars maybe the wild card would've been a little different.

Well, if you watched most of their games in September... they were fairly useless then too.

I kind of had a bad feeling when they went something like 1 for 11 in early September.

Good post. People were so wrapped up with their record, nobody realized that they were out of gas over the last few weeks.

Only team swept in the NLDS.
