Take a look at the activity at the competing board, DBSTALK, and its 921 forum. Its packed with continuing posts. Guys, bring it back.

I need a place to beat on my 921 some more. The OTA issues are still top of my list.

Hard drive noise has more to do with the inferior quality of the motor and bearings (and wear) than the amount of platters and physical 'space' of the drive. I've heard nearly silent new 250Gig drives and super noisy new 20Gig drives. The CSR was incorrect.

This arrangement keeps me from having to remember to go to both 811 and 921 forums with 942 previews as in the DBSTalk forums. Since I have both this allows cross-discussion. Thanks,
