Bridging

I have 2 Hoppers and 4 Joeys all 4 joeys received the latest software update but only one of my Hoppers did. The Hopper that did not is setup with bridging so all my Joeys and other Hopper can have Internet access. Works fine.

My question is can the bridging effect the Hopper acting as the bridge from receiving software updates? I don't believe so but thought I read that somewhere or heard it from Tech support.

Software updates are rolled out via satellite to Hoppers based on receiver number. Internet is irrelevant.
