Brevard County -- Somewhat Confirmed Rumor!!! (Now Confirmed!!)

Gotta love the title. Today was a meeting of the minds. The sub contractors and reps from BHN, told us that within the next 2 months, they are to be simulcasting the lower channels (2-88) in digital and analog.

What does this mean? For those that have No digital box (yes you have to pay extra for it) nothing, for those that DO have digital boxes, your lower channels will be broadcasted in digital format!!!

Now, as the title says, this is a SOMEWHAT confirmed rumor. We already know they have the ability to simulcast the channels. Its already being done (and has been done for a long time) on channel 10 in this area.

If some of you dont know, channel 10 here, without a box, shows a scrolling tv guide. If you have a box, it shows a digital PPV preview channel.

This is good news. Finally going digital on the lower channels. Only downfall, if you want all digital, you have to have a box, which means more of a monthly fee. Usually only 15$ a month.

Enjoy the information!!
