BREAKING: LEBRON chooses Miami

1st and foremost, IF they get Lebron....do you think they are done adding/subtracting players?! LOL!! And finally, this is where I find this post so interesting and disturbing. When you and I would argue about who was more valuable to his team, you clearly stated that IF Lebron was on the Heat with their scrubs, they would be better and probably go deeper in the playoffs.....with THAT said, why would a team WITH Lebron, WITH Wade and WITH Bosh ....not make the Finals every year they are together REGARDLESS who plays the other positions??!! And NOW you think this team would NOT make the Finals?! Are you kidding me??!!

You're missing my point. As of today, you only have TWO players under contract! Beasley and Chalmers! Eventually, Wade and Bosh will sign, yes. If LeBron decides to go there, he will sign too. But what about the rest of your team?! They aren't under contract! Not Haslam, not O'Neal, not Cook, not Arroyo! If your team from last year wants to come back and sign for the minimum, fine. Might as well fast-forward to the NBA Finals, but let's see how the rest of the team is rounded out first.

ah, they did 2 years ago. they were the 4th see this year, they weren't suppose to go back to the finals...so i think they outplayed. i presume you are talking about boston.

btw, best thing i heard on tv this morning is miami would be better off not signing his backsideness because there would be more money to get a supporting cast.

That was 2 years ago. IF they were still THAT good, they would have won it again.

And your 2nd statement.....I believe completely. I am torn between the spectacle of having a "dream team" and the feasibility of have a better TEAM without Lebron. ANY WAY you look at it, Miami WILL be a better team and WON the free agency sweepstakes even if they DON'T get Lebron.

BTW, Stephen A** Smith was just on the Jim Rome show. Stood by his "prediction" that LeBron will team up with Wade and Bosh in Miami. He said his source called again last night and confirmed it again. Said LeBron had his mind made up two weeks ago, although will never admit it. Got to hand it to the man (if it holds true). I hate the SOB, but he called it from the beginning!

Me and Salsa + Wade, Bosh, and Lebron = Finals.

What if one of the three go down with an injury? Then the team might not even make the playoffs! LOL!

This is a HUGE risk! And one that I'm not so sure is good for the league. This is a terrible message the NBA is sending!

Welp, I hate to jump the gun, but all the sources out of Cleveland seem to be confirming the LeBron to Miami deal is as good as done. Of course, he could be all playing us to only make the drama all the better if he goes against this, but I doubt it. As a Cleveland fan, I have no reason to think otherwise. We've been letdown in the past, but this may be one of the worst because he was "one of our own". I hope to hell I'm wrong, but 9pm is looking like LeBron is dumping the city I love so much on National TV. If so, we will NEVER forgive him. Public Enemy #1 as you say!

PS, how would LeBron ever show up for a game in Cleveland again?! Fans will storm the court and/or throw crap at him! I don't see how he makes it in or out of this city again alive! Yes, I am being completely serious. Fans will not take this well!

See...now you are going back on EVERYTHING you preached the last few years on how Lebron makes EVERYONE better??!! Well IF....and I am still doubt and STILL think he is going to Chicago....IF he comes to Miami WITH a Wade and WITH a Bosh, you are now going back on your hype that those three could not get a bunch of college players and lower tier NBA players and make them better??!! REALLY??!!

IF he were on the HEAT WITH Wade and Bosh...and they NEVER go above what they averaged on their teams last year.....hear me out....NEVER go above what those 3 averaged last year.....they win 55+ games and make ATLEAST the Finals easy.

I saw a post somewhere that SAS was the first to proclaim this, back on June 28.

This is getting wilder by the minute. From a local Sports talk host...

One report has LeBron renting 6 cabanas at the W Hotel South Beach this weekend to celebrate...........

......I have a call in 2 the W Hotel South beach & I'm waiting 4 a response from them.PR is supposed 2 get back to me,they were in a meeting

AGAIN, you said Lebron with Miami's team last year makes it PAST the 1st round of the playoffs....you tell me that with 1 guy of those 3 goes down....they don't make the playoffs.....??!! The BOBCATS made it with less this year....!! LOL!

I find it very interesting that when either the player you want or your own player possibly signing with some else....the doubt of thier abilities and the names come out.....

...wow....

My statement was made when you had a full roster. All I'm saying is lets wait and see once your roster is filled out. As of today, you have 2 guys under contract.

And again, HOW are those three not gonna make WHOMEVER they sign....better?

THAT IS what you preached about Lebron for years, wasn't it? This is why am I so confused and perplexed about your statements now....:(

Slipper Slope. A Special Comment

Re: LeBron, Bosh to Miami with Wade...

It could create a dangerous precedent that I don’t want to see become the trend. Rather than doing what Cleveland did, and try to improve your team to make your superstar happy, now teams might see a better plan of attack be to actually destroy your roster and slash all salary and bottom out your team just to add a couple stars who are incapable of winning a title on their own.

Rather than seeing teams try to more or less build their roster organically like Cleveland, Chicago, Portland, Oklahoma City, etc have done, we might begin to see more shameful displays of self-sabotage like New York and Miami pulled off. It could become a league of arms races. What has always been a sport about spreading out the stars so every team could keep their own stars and build around them will become a league of tampering and collusion.

The NBA has always been about rivalries. Going all the way back to Wilt vs Russell up to Bird vs Magic or Jordan vs everyone. It was Lakers-Celtics, Celtics-Sixers, Pistons-Celtics, Bulls-Pistons, Lakers-Blazers, Lakers-Kings, etc. We lived for epic battles betweens teams and superstars who didn’t want to join up together, but wanted to compete and beat each other. That sentiment seems to be gone. If LeBron does follow through and head to Miami, it changes much about the way I thought about the NBA.

Look man, you maybe right. But let me at least heal from this s* if it does indeed go down. I'm sorry, but I'm too damn pissed to praise ANYONE right now or predict how they will make their team better. As far as I'm concerned I'm going to root for them all to fail miserably, especially LeBron! (if he goes to Miami) :)

The Heat have offered Mike Miller a 5year deal, worth approximately $27-$30 mill. Miami has given Miller a deadline of Thurs night 2 decide

Miller has been told by the Heat that they are 'confident' LeBron James will be joining the Heat.

Do they have the money to do this?

Q: What do you think the TV ratings for tonight's 9pm special will be?

Any chance it will out shine this year's NBA Final Game 7?
