Well after my disappointment with my Plasma TV,
I decided to look for a LCD this time. I went to HHgreg, Bestbuy, walmart and looked at about 10 different models in the 42-47 range.
I decided on this.
Philips 47PFL5704D/F7 specs
Wow I'm impressed with the PQ. Very good blacks for a Philips, Even Very good for a LCD, and the 2 ms response time beats my Sony 1080p 3 ms.
Also the 120 Hz makes such a huge difference, I may never buy another tv without this option.
The D* HD looked good before, Now its unreal.
I'm going to have to say the PQ on this TV beats my KDL52XBR5 sony.
Sound , well not the best. For having best in class 30 watts some of them must have gotten lost.
Buttom line Plasmas have very good PQ , but very unpredictable when it come to Image Rentention. Dark blacks are dark yes , but what good are they when you can see images ghosting in the blacks? LCD have come a long way and with much less to worry about it was a no brainer.
I'll post some pictures when I find my Usb cord for my Camera.
