bluetooth joey, noise when skipping

I've had my Joey for several months; but finally got some BT headphones last week.

Paired them up, can control the volume, but when shipping a commercial it's gets all loud noisy staticy sounding!
Sometimes fixes itself in a few seconds, sometimes not.

Is it me, dish, ???
