Blue Button Help

I have screwed up my remote, it wont control sat box. How do you adress the remote to the box? Any help would be apreciated...

pull your smart card and wait for the system information screen to come up 30sec. to a minute. Press the red record button on the remote. Put the card back in and see if remote works. If it dosen't call 800-333-3474 tech support.
