Blocking and Pixilation on HWS Big 4 Channels Only

I have a 2 Hopper setup with a HWS and a Hopper 2000 on the WA in the Pittsburgh PA area. CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox are all experiencing picture breakup but the audio never drops. This is only on the HWS the HPR2000 is not experiencing this issue. It affects both live TV and recordings on these channels.

I have tried power plug pulls which don’t seem to help at all. I have no clue what I need to do to resolve this problem. I would think if I had a signal issue it would affect more than just these 4 channels, same with a hard drive going bad. It has been pretty cold lately, could it be an issue with my duo node that was installed March 2012? I think I remember a thread about that here.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
I've been having the same thing on both of my HWSs but almost never watch the local channels live so not sure that it is happening live. Now I'm starting to wonder if there is something going on only with those channels involved in the PTAT operation and not a hard drive problem.

I thought I had narrowed it down to recording made in late November and December of last year but now I'm not sure.
So far, it has only been very annoying. I picked up a new Seagate drive to install in one of my receivers but am holding off for now. Need to research this a bit longer.
 
Do you have an ethernet cable connected to the back of the hopper?

Go to the broadband menu and also check the wireless option and let us know if it shows connected. This once again sounds like a possible multiple ip connection issue. You should only connect 1 of the hoppers to the Internet, then enable bridging on your connected hopper. Hopper 2 should not connect to WiFi or ethernet.

Nope, the HWS is not connected to ethernet or WiFi and has bridging disabled. The HPR2000 is connected via ethernet with bridging enabled. I'm pretty sure the multiple IP issue would affect more than just the PTAT channels, but thank you for the suggestion.

What is the problem of having both Hoppers connected to the internet with ethernet cables, no wireless connection, and bridging not enabled?
With this arrangement I can remove one or the other from service anytime I want (both are purchased) and keep an active internet connection on the active one???

Nothing wrong with doing what you are doing.
